Meet transcriber, Liam Wood
Liam joined A2i 18 months ago, with a background in sales and customer service. Liam’s faster than lightening to pick up the phone, so he’s probably answered your query if you’ve called the office recently! In just this short time, Liam has become proficient in reading Braille and is currently working towards RNIB’s Certificate in Contracted Braille (UEB). Liam is particularly adept at overseeing the production of our audiobooks – so expect to see some more launched in 2017. Find out a bit more about Liam Wood…

A cat called Oreo – although I suspect she thinks her name is ‘Dreamies’…
Do you do any sports?
I used to play a lot of rugby, but not for a good number of years now.
What do you like about living in Bristol?
It’s like a mini London, multicultural and bustling with young-up-and-coming people. However, it still has a very strong sense of community. The music scene is also fantastic, catering for a lot of eclectic tastes.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love playing beer and pretzel board games with my friends, and going for walks with my partner.
Thanks Liam!
