Admin Assistant
We transcribe documents into alternative formats for people with disabilities. We are looking for someone who can help with admin tasks, including general office admin and support our team in the production and packing of orders.
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 25 – 37.5 hours/week (times to be agreed within 9am – 5pm Mon – Fri)
Salary: £9.90 / hour (£19,305 pa pro rata)
Start date: possible posts available Sept/Oct 2022

Braille Maths Transcriber
We are looking for someone with experience of mathematical language to train as a Braille Maths Transcriber. All Braille training will be provided in-house. Braille is a code and the Braille Maths Transcriber will need to be able to create the correct code for mathematical equations up to degree level – there is therefore no need to be able to solve equations but instead to be able to understand their structure and create them correctly in the Braille code.
Job Type: fixed term 3 months (possibility of extension to permanent)
Hours: 25 – 37.5 hours/week (times to be agreed within 9am – 5pm Mon – Fri)
Salary: £11 – £14/ hour
Start date: tbc
Location: main office initially (BS6 5EE) with possibility of hybrid working after satisfactory training period
