About Attitude is Everything
Attitude is Everything are a disability-led charity that work to improve access to music and live events for disabled people. They partner with music and live event industries to improve accessibility for disabled artists, audience members, volunteers and industry professionals.

No climate action without us
Attitude is Everything’s report titled, ‘No Climate Action Without us’ acts as a toolkit for arts organisations to use when considering how to make their live music events or festivals more accessible and sustainable.
Sustainability initiatives within the music industry are often innovative, forward-thinking, yet inaccessible to disabled people. They are not designed with the needs of disabled people in mind.
The toolkit explores how sustainability solutions can also be accessible to disabled people.
How Attitude is Everything, Julie’s Bicycle and A Greener Future worked together
The toolkit is a result of Julie’s Bicycle bringing disabled people, the live event managers and sustainability organisations together in roundtables, and through conversations and a public survey to discuss how to create and to implement climate change solutions that were also accessible to disabled people.
Now, it is the responsibility of industry professionals and those involved in climate solutions to continue the conversation. The toolkit is labelled a call to action, advising experts in accessibility and sustainability to work together and to design sustainability initiatives in collaboration with disabled people.
A Greener Future wrote three festival case studies; Bristol’s Forwards Festival, Green Man in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), and Northamptonshire’s Shambala. They are working hard to embed accessibility and sustainability into their programming. These case studies are included in the toolkit.
How A2i and Attitude is Everything worked together
A2i transcribed the No Climate Action Without us toolkit into Easy Read and British Sign Language.
Suitable for adults with learning disabilities, the Easy Read version includes the most crucial sections of the report, simplified and accompanied by images.
The BSL version, signed by Marcel Hirshman, includes closed captions and is accessible to people who are D/deaf.
A2i have also transcribed the latest version of the No Climate Action Without us toolkit. It includes positive changes that venues and events have made in response to Attitude is Everything’s toolkit.
