Accessible Web Design and Web Accessibility Audits
We know it’s really important to make websites accessible. By making your website and any online content such as PDFs accessible, you will make a big step towards digital inclusion for people with disabilities. We try hard to make sure that our own website continually meets the W3C Website Accessibility Level AA Web Accessibility standards.
We can put you in touch with a company we trust, to work on Accessible Web Design for you, or to complete a Web Accessibility Audit for you. Audits are a way of testing existing sites to find out what changes are required, so that your own IT team or web developers can make your website accessible.
If you publish digital documents such as PDFs on your website, we can supply these in a variety of accessible formats including accessible PDFs that meet specific accessibility standards.

Moon Transcription
Moon is an alternative format that is similar to Braille, and made up of raised lines and curves. Moon transcription is not as widely used as Braille and is bulky and slow to produce. However Moon is particularly suitable for those who lose their sight later in life, or for people who may have a less keen sense of touch. Visually impaired children who also have additional physical and/or learning difficulties may also find Moon preferable to Braille.
