A2i Exhibition Success

At Hospitality 2009 last month, A2i exhibited our Braille and tactile signage and Braille and Large Print menus. The event was a great success for A2i and we’d like to share with you the highlights…

• Hundreds of people stopped at A2i’s stand to view the signage and menus that we had on display.

• Lots of pub and restaurant owners have bought, or will be buying, signage and menus for their restaurants, before our promotional offer ends at the end of February.

• Several articles have been published about A2i and the products and services we promoted at the show, and look out for another article featuring us in the March edition of Restaurant magazine!

• Our free Braille chocolates proved a great success - and a great temptation!

• Our prize draw, to win a huge chocolate Braille egg, was very popular and the winner will be announced shortly.

A2i price changes

Following a thorough review, A2i are implementing some changes in our pricing structure.

Some transcription costs will be increasing. However, other prices are going down or have remained the same.

Please read on for a brief summary of the changes...

A2i have not increased their prices since December 2006, so we hope our customers will understand that this is now necessary. This will help us maintain a top quality service and a fast turnaround time for all of our customers.

However, we are not implementing a price rise across the board. Prices of many items are, in fact, coming down - so that our prices better reflect the expertise required for our various services.

In summary:

• CD and e-text copy prices have been reduced by 60%. Tape, Braille, Large Print and Moon copy rates are unchanged

• All master prices for standard Braille, Large Print, audio CD, audio tape and
e-text are now the same.

• Prices for complex pages of text (tables, graphs, diagrams, contents pages etc) in Braille, Large Print, Daisy type 4, e-text and Moon have been reduced. Audio CD, tape and Daisy type 2 prices have remained the same.

• The price for all master CDs and tapes will now include the media (CD or tape) - so you will no longer be charged for each CD or tape required, in addition to the price per page.

• Our Instant Braille and Audio service, Braille labels, Braille and Large Print menus, Braille business cards, typing charges, postal charges, signage and all other shop products remain unchanged.
